Discount Receipt – QR discount coupon printing for PrestaShop

A personalised order insert that brings customers back

Discount Receipt creates a compact receipt-style visualisation using actual PrestaShop order data. It can generate a PDF or RAW ESC/POS output, send it automatically to a receipt printer through PrintNode and place a unique discount coupon with a QR code below the order summary.

The printed insert can be placed directly in the parcel. After scanning the QR code, the customer is taken to the store and the coupon is remembered even when the cart is still empty. It is applied automatically after a product is added.

Receipt-style order summary

• seller and buyer details, order reference and sale date,
• product names, quantities, net unit prices, VAT values and gross totals,
• products, discounts, delivery, tax, payment method and order total,
• invoice number obtained from the configured document source,
• single-page PDF with dynamic height and configurable paper width,
• consistent receipt typography and support for international characters and currencies.

Automatic QR discount coupons

• percentage or fixed-amount discount configured in the module,
• unique coupon linked to the source order,
• configurable validity period,
• single-use coupon that cannot be combined with other cart rules,
• coupon creation independent of automatic printing,
• QR link that opens the store and remembers the coupon in a cookie,
• CRON cleanup of expired or used coupons.

Automatic and manual printing

Connect the module to PrintNode, select a printer and print each new order automatically. From the order page, staff can also download the PDF, print it again or open the module settings. A preview generated from a selected real order is available in the configuration page.

The module supports PDF printing and RAW ESC/POS output for compatible thermal printers. PrintNode requires a separate PrintNode account and an API key.

Visual multilingual print editor

• WYSIWYG HTML editor with separate tabs for every language installed in the store,
• variables for logo, seller, buyer, products, totals, invoice number, coupon, QR code, discount values, expiration date and footer,
• custom seller details including tax and BDO numbers,
• custom PNG, JPG, monochrome SVG or PDF logo,
• configurable paper width, font size and receipt separators.

Invoice data

Order and product data is read directly from PrestaShop. The current document-source integration supports Faktura XL for the invoice number; the architecture is ready for additional invoice providers in future updates.

The generated printout is an order/invoice visualisation and a marketing insert. It does not replace a fiscal receipt, VAT invoice or any other accounting document required by law.

• PrintNode account and API key for direct cloud printing,
• CRON recommended for automatic coupon cleanup,
• Imagick required only for selected vector-logo and ESC/POS conversion operations.

Licence and updates

During purchase, select the licensed domain and choose either a free 14-day trial or the full module with 12 months of updates. The licence is assigned to the selected domain. Online updates are digitally signed and verified before installation.
